Ogun Speaker Worried Over Release of Arrested Suspected Cultists

Speaker of the Ogun state house of assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, has asked the elites in the state, including traditional rulers, to stop facilitating the release of arrested suspected cultists from police custody.

Oluomo, worried over the renewed clashes by cultists in Sagamu, says it is time to take a drastic action to curb the menace of cultists in the state.

He spoke on the issue, following a motion moved by the house deputy majority leader, Abdul-Bashir Oladunjoye, who expressed concern over the renewed clashes by cultists in Sagamu.

The speaker warned those influencing the release of arrested suspected cultists to allow the suspects face the law.
