Ogun Speaker Says the Late Okanlomo of Egbaland one of the Pillars of Modern Politics in Ogun State

The speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Honorable Olakunle Oluomo has described the late baba Adinni of Ifo, and Okanlomo of Egbaland, Alhaji Suleiman Onabiyi as one of the pillars of modern politics in Ogun State.

The late politician, according to him, also contributed immensely to the sustenance of democracy in the state.

The speaker paid tribute during the eight day Fidau prayer held in Ifo, to offer prayers for the repose of the soul of the late politician, who died last October 23,  at the age of 85 years.

Also speaking at the event, Elder Joju Fadairo also described Onabiyi as one of the political pillars in Ogun State and in Nigeria who play politics without nepotism.

Also speaking at Fidau prayer, Honorable Dele Obadimu called the Late Onabiyi as a super human being, a colossus and generalissimo whose gap he left behind would be difficult to maintain.

The first child of the deceased politician, Alhaja Bilikisu Onabiyi-Usman described her father as generous, and very religious who took care of his children and others who came in contact with him in his life time.
