Ogun state government says it has released a fresh 500 million naira for the quarterly settlement of the gratuity arrears of pensioners on its payroll and that of the local governments.
Permanent secretary in the state bureau of pensions, Olukunle Sodeinde, made this known in a statement.

He appreciates Governor Dapo Abiodun for keeping to the agreement reached with the pensioners on the gradual settlement of the backlog of gratuities.
The state government had reached a deal with the organized labour to release 500 million naira.
