Ogun Registers Third Highest Number Of Applicants For 2033 UTME

In Ogun Over 81 thousand out of the 1.6 million candidates writing the 2023 Unified Matriculation Examination ( UTME ) nationwide today registered for the examination from ogun state.

The 81 thousand and 48 candidates that ogun state registered for the annual entrance examination is the third highest among the 36 states and federal capital territory (FCT).

Others on the list of top ten states with highest number of candidates for the examination are Lagos, whose 270,573, tops the list, followed by Oyo with 94,970, and Ogun with 81 thousand and 48 applicants.

Other states in the top ten are Rivers (80,119), Kaduna (79,478), FCT (76,132), Delta (61,718), Kano (52,790), Nasarawa (51,289), and Kwara with 49,365 applicants.

The applicants seeking admission into the universities, polytechnics and colleges of education, will write the examination in 798 computer based test centres nationwide.

The examination will end on may 3.
