Ogun PDP Accuses APC Of Removing Its Campaign Billboards

Ogun state PDP has accused the ruling APC of frustrating its efforts to erect campaign billboards for its candidates, ahead of the 2023 polls.

The state chairman of the major opposition political party, Sikirullahi Ogundele made the accusation, in an interview with a Rockcity FM correspondent, Tobi ojeleye, in Abeokuta.

Ogundele alleged that the campaign billboards of his party were removed at several places, including Ifo and Ewekoro.

Recently, the ruling APC also cried out that the campaign billboards of its candidates were being vandalized across the state.

Meanwhile, the state PDP secretary, Akinloye Bankole, said that the party may restrict the number of its campaign billboards.

Akinloye speaking to Tobi Ojeleye said the billboards to be erected as from January 2023, may be limited to the governorship and senatorial candidates of the PDP.

He also confirmed that the PDP would commence its full campaign as from January 3, 2023, ahead of the 2023 polls.
