OGUN NSCDC TO DEPLOY 2,075 OFFICERS DURING RAMADAN CELEBRATION

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Ogun State command have embarked on a 24 hours special operation to prevent crime activities, before, during and after the forthcoming Eid El Fitri celebration in the state.

The command in collaboration with other security units will be deploying its special squads like Anti-Vandal Squad, Counter-Terrorist Unit among others to protect targeted places like worship centres, market places, Eid grounds and other areas of critical importance to security.

The corps also says it will be monitoring activities across critical national assets and infrastructure.

The Ogun State commander of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Kolawole Taiwo in his visit to some of the corp command in Ogun Central, Abeokuta and Ayetoro  made it known that 2,075 officer will be deploy across the state to carry out the operation.

He advice his officers to be of good conduct, be nice to the people and exhibit highest level of professionalism, excellence and dedication to duty while working with other security agencies.

The commander also felicitates with Muslims in the state as he advice residents to go about their lawful activities without fear and employ moderation during and after the Ramadan celebration.
