Ogun Intending Pilgrims To Pay N3.69 Million Fare For 2023 Hajj In Saudi Arabia

Each of the Ogun state intending Pilgrims to the 2023 pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, is to pay n3.69 million fare.

The package, is higher than N2.99 hajj fare approved by the national hajj commission of nigeria, and n3.2 million charged by lagos state muslim pilgrims welfare board.

Chairman of the state muslim pilgrims welfare board, Alhaji Salau Daudu who made this known, asked all intending pilgrims to pay the bill latest april 21.

He said intending pilgrims from the state apart from the approved N2.99 million hajj fare, must pay additional N700,000 charges.

According to the board chairman, the additional n700,000 was for logistics or charges not captured in the hajj fare announced by the nahcon

He, however explained that the hajj fare, include the basic transport allowance of $800 for every intending pilgrims

Other charges captured in the n2.99 million hajj fare are hotel accommodation, cost of airline, amongst others.
