Ogun Gets New Police Commissioner

New Police Commissioner has been posted to Ogun State. He is Police Commissioner Frank Mba who until his new posting was the commissioner of police in-charge of border patrol at the force headquarters, Abuja.

Mba is taking over from commissioner Lanre Bankole, had been posted to the force headquarters.

The new police commissioner, served as the force spokesman. He served under three inspector generals of police, assistant police commissioner in-charge of Panti Yard, Yaba, Lagos and the Area Police commander for Ajah Police Command.

Ogun State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, made this known in a statement.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports said Commissioner Lanre is to be elevated to the rank of assistant Inspector General of Police.

Mba is a member of the National Institute(NI), having successfully completed the Senior Executive Course at the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies Kuru-Jos in 2022.

He is a holder of Bachelor Degree in law from University of Lagos and he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002. He also has Master’s Degree in Law(LLM) from University of Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom.
