Ogun Extends Amnesty Period For Property Owners
Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state has extended the amnesty period for property owners, who built their houses without State Government’s permit in the state.
The fresh deadline is extended from November 4 to December 31, 2022.
Physical Planning and Urban Development Commissioner, Olatunji Odunlami in a statement says the fresh extension is to enable them to regularize their building documents.

The commissioner says that the governor had earlier waived the payment of penal fees for those seeking to take advantage of the extension.
He asks affected property owners to take advantage of the fresh amnesty period to regularize their building documents.
