Governor Dapo Abiodun has declared Tuesday, July 26 as a work free day for Ogun civil servants to register for the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) ahead of the July 31 deadline for the closure of the ongoing continuous voter registration.

The governor in a statement by his chief press secretary, Kunle Somorin said the holiday is for those who lost their PVC and those yet to register for the card.
Abiodun also said the work free day is for those who want to travel to their constituencies to either perfect their PVC or transfer their PVC where necessary.
The governor also asks all eligible adults in the state to go to their different constituencies for their PVC registration, and file claims and objection form and transfer of their PVC wherever this is necessary.
