Ogun Assembly Detects Infraction In State Health Insurance Agency’s Fund

Ogun State House of Assembly says it has detected some infractions in the financial records of the Ogun State health Insurance Agency.

Chairman of the Public Account and Anti-Corruption Committee of the Assembly, Musefiu Lamidi made this known after the committee examined the audit report on the finance of the agency.

He directs the executive director of the agency, Dr. Afolabi Dosunmu, to provide the committee with details of cash received from January 1,2020 to December 31, 2021.

Also, the committee demands documents on other expenditures, fixed assets register, policy documents on basic health insurance, provision account, the process for engaging third party administrator.

The committee also asked for a list of third party administrators and amounts disbursed to them so far.
