Obasanjo Warns 20 Million Out Of School Children Poses Security Threat
Former president Olusegun Obasanjo has warned that Nigeria’s 20 million out of school children are potential security threat.
According to him, such children must be taken to schools to prevent them from becoming another set of Boko Haram terrorists.

Obasanjo said his fear is a reality that would come to pass, if nothing is done to educate the out of school children.
He spoke on the issue on Tuesday as a panelist at the education summit organized by the house of representatives in Abuja.
The former president said out of school children could not be effectively be part of nation building because they lack the opportunities to develop their innate capacities to make them useful to themselves, their families, society, Nigeria and Africa.
