NECO Releases 2022 SSCE Results

The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2022 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination.

The examination body’s Registrar, Professor Dantani Wushishi, released the results on Thursday in Minna, the Niger State Capital.

Seven hundred and 27 candidates representing 60.74 percent of those who wrote the examination got credits and above in five subjects, including English and Mathematics.

A total of 13,594 of the candidates were involved in malpratices during the examination, against 20 thousand and three in the 2021 edition.

The registrar also said that four schools were delisted from NECO examination for two years, for allegedly aiding cheating in the examination.

A total of 1,209,703 students, including 636,237 males and 573,376 females, registered for the examination.

The registrar, however, said that only 1,198,412 wrote the examination.
