National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has called for a drug test for those aspiring to contest in the 2023 polls.
NdLEA chairman, retired major general Buba Marwa, made the call while decorating NDLEA officers who have distinguished themselves in the fight against drug in Abuja.
Marwa says he has already written a letter to the APC national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, to facilitate the drug integrity test on the party’s aspirants before the primaries for the polls.
He says a similar letter will be addressed to the PDP national chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu and other political parties for the test to be conducted on the party’s candidates.
