NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, in a statement says that Ohiagu was arrested last Tuesday, following the arrest of a Dubai bound passenger, Obinna Osita at the new terminal of the airport.

The Dubai based passenger, according to Babafemi, was held with three bags, two of which contain eight blocks of cannabis, weighing 4.25 kilogrammes.

He explains that the drug was concealed in cassava products, cray fish and garri.

Babafemi described the seizure as the first case of drug trafficking at the newly commissioned terminal of the airport.
