The National Library of Nigeria is to establish its branch in Ogun state.
The proposed branch is to be sited in Abeokuta, the state capital.
Chief executive officer of the agency, Professor Chinwe Anunobi announced this during a courtesy visit to Governor Dapo Abiodun at the governor’s office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.

She thanked the governor for allocating land in a strategic location in Abeokuta for the project.
Anunobi said she is amazed at the massive infrastructural development of the state, and the passion of the governor for education and development of library.
The governor says that the choice of land allocated for the national library project will ensure accessibility to the proposed library.
