NAHCON Begins Preparation For 2023 Hajj

National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has directed the State Muslim welfare boards to apply for a refund of the 2022 Hajj Pilgrims.

The Commission’s Assistant Director of Public Affairs, Fatima Usara, in a statement said this was to pave the way for preparation for the 2023 Hajj Exercise.

The Directive was issued, ahead of the meeting between the Commission and the Saudi Authorities, Scheduled to hold on December 20 to discuss issues on the Hajj and sign the Memorandum of Understanding for the 2023 Hajj Exercise.

Usara explained that some of the issues to be discussed during the meeting included the costs of services in Saudi Arabia during the Hajj to determine the 2023 Hajj Fare.

The services are the Masair Package, an update on the Makkah Route and Transport Service during Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
