More Than 200 Beggars, Destitutes Cleared From Abuja Streets Moved To Their Respective States

More that 200 beggars, destitutes and vagabonds have been removed from the major streets of Abuja.

Federal capital territory authorities said that 217 of those arrested are beng repartiated to their respective states.

Director of FCT department of social welfare, service, Sanni Rabe made this known while speaking to newsmen in Abuja during the repatriation exercise.

He explained that most of them were repatriated to Katsina, Kano, Kaduna, Niger, Jigawa, Zamfara, Sokoto and Kebi states.

Some of them, according to him were repatriated to Abia, Imo and Delta states.
