The prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence Samuel Kanu-Uche has been abducted in Abia state by gunmen.

The prelate was abducted on Sunday within Umunaochi local government area axis of the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway.
He was abducted in Abia state along with his chaplain and the Methodist bishop of Owerri, the Rt. Reverend Dennis
The prelate was said to be on a valedictory visit, preparatory to the end of his tenure.
