A forty year old man has allegedly slapped his 11 year old daughter to death in Jigawa State.
The tragic incident occurred at Achiya village in Babura local government area of the state.
Spokesman of the state police command, Assistant Superiutendent of Police Lawan Shiusu, alleged that the suspect, Yakubu Hannafi, last Saturday slapped his daughter, salina Hanafi.
According to the police image maker, the girl died on the spot.
He said the suspect is now in police custody, while investigation is ongoing into the incident.
