Man Sentenced To Three Years imprisonment In Abeokuta
An Abeokuta Magistrate Court Isabo, Ogun State has sentenced a 30 years old man, Dauda Salako to three years imprisonment with hard labour for stealing.
The convict who was docked on a sole count charge pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Assistant Police Superintendent Olakunle Shonibare told the court that the accused committed the crime on March 13, 2022, at Oya village off Ajebo Road, in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

According to the prosecutor, the accused stole a Bajaaj motorcycle marked AAB 421 VN worth N380, 000 which was parked by one Monday Aluko at his residence while he was cooking in the kitchen.
After cooking, the man who owned the motorcycle came to relax at the veranda of his residence, and noticed that his motorcycle was missing.
The prosecutor said the man alerted the public on the missing motorcycle, leading to the arrest of the accused.
Delivering her judgement, the magistrate Olajumoke Somefun said the prosecution has proved its case beyond reasonable doubt, and sentenced the accused to three years jail with hard labour.
