A 54-year-old man, Dauda Bello, has allegedly killed and dismembered a 71-year-old woman, at Olodo, Imala, in Ogun state.
The suspect, now in police net, cut off the wrist and ankle of the woman identified as Mrs. Mesesi Adisa, and sold them to some people now on the run.
The suspect, during interrogation told the police that himself and the 71-year-old woman were involved in trafficking of children.
He invited the woman to his house on June 8 to discuss business but suspected on her arrival, that she was carrying a huge sum of money.

The suspect said he hit the woman on the head, with a heavy wooden stick, dragged her into the nearby bush, only to discover she had only 22,200 naira on her.
Disappointed at the amount, the suspect said he snuffed life out of the woman and cut off her two wrists and ankle which he sold to some people who are now at large.
Spokesman of the state police command, Abimbola Oyeyemi said the woman had departed her home on June 8 and her relatives reported to the Ilupeju/Sabo police divisional headquarters when she failed to return home.
Following the report, detectives from the police station suscessfully tracked the woman to the last place she visited at Olodo in Imala, where the suspect was arrested.
The suspect later took detectives to a shallow grave in the bush where the dismembered body of the woman was exhumed and deposited in a morgue.
