Lekki Deep Sea port Ready

China Harbour Enginnering Company Limited is scheduled to hand over the Lekki Deep Seaport project to the project’s promoters.

Chairman of Lekki Ports LFTZ Enterprises Limited, Abiodun Aabiru made this known during the breakfast meeting of the Nigeria-South Africa Chamber of Commerce in Lagos.

The project, according to him, had been completed.

He said that the port had underwent dry run and testing last September 16, while Nigerians who will operate its equipment had been trained.

The sea port is expected to relieve Apapa AMD Tincan Port Islands which are both facing congestion.
