Leicester city are the latest English premier league club linked with a summer move for Taiwo Awoniyi.
sport witness citing sport bild claims that Taiwo Awoniyi is one of two Bundesliga players being eyed by the foxes ahead of next season, the other being Hoffenheim midfielder Christoph Baumgartner.
The German newspaper has reported that a number of “English middle-class clubs” such as Leicester are “trying to sign him” in the summer.

Awoniyi is enjoying his best season as a professional to date, scoring eighteen goals in all competitions, his career best in a single season.
He was teammates with Leicester city duo, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho at under 17 and under 20 levels prior to his senior debut in October 2021.
Awoniyi’s name has also been mooted regarding possible moves to West Ham United, Newcastle United and Southampton in the summer.
