Eight teams including sporting Lagos and Kano Pillars are fighting it out to determine the four teams that will pick up promotion tickets to the NNL,

Sporting Lagos, Kano Pillars and Katsina United record big wins while the other match ended in a goalless affair in the takeoff of the super 8 playoffs in Asaba.

In the opening game of the playoffs at the Stephen Keshi stadium in Asaba, Katsina United thrashed  DMD FC 2-1 win.
