Lagos Approves Use Of Hijab In Its Schools
Lagos State Government has approved the use of Hijab by female Muslim students in schools across the state.
The implementation of the directive is with immediate effect.
It is not clear if private schools are affected.

Head of the State Civil Service, Hakeem Muri Okunola, says the decision followed the judgement of the Supreme Court last June 17.
He said that a comprehensive guideline on its implementation would soon be released.
The Head of Service, however, said the judgement of the Apex court is binding on all Schools in the State.
