Labour Party To Appease Suspended Ogun Leaders, Ahead Of 2023 Polls
Labour Party has set up a committee to placate its aggrieved leaders in its Ogun State chapter, ahead of the 2023 polls.
The reconciliation committee is to reconcile with its suspended acting national publicity secretary, Abayomi Arabambi, and a faction of its Ogun State executive committee.
Spokesman of the party’s presidential campaign council, doctor Yunusa Tanko, announced the decision to newsmen in Abuja, said the national working committee had reversed its decision that Arabambi and the aggrieved members of the Ogun State committee, should face a disciplinary committee.
He explained that an 11-member committee was given the task of reuniting them back into the party.

Arabambi had accused the National Chairman, Julius Abure, of alleged N40 million fraud and other misconduct, which he claimed to have reported to the appropriate agencies, including the office of the chief justice of the federation.
Also, the chairman of the state executive committee and some members in the committee had suspended the spokesman of the peter obi campaign council, Dr. Doyin Okupe of not paying membership due.
The National Working Committee had since cleared the National Chairman of the allegation.
