Labour Party Claims Victory In Presidential Poll, To Seek Redress
The Labour Party has urged Nigerians to remain peaceful as it pursues legal redress on the just concluded presidential poll.
The party’s vice presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti Ahmed, made the call hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the winner of the poll on Wednesday morning.
Datti, addressing a press conference in Abuja, claimed that Labour Party won the poll, but was rigged.
According to him, the purported result did not meet the minimum criteria of a transparent, free and fair poll.
