Kaduna state government has imposed a 24 hour curfew in Jemma and Kauri local government areas following attacks by armed bandits on Sunday night.
Fifteen people died and scores of houses were set ablaze by the bandits during their renewed attacks in communities in Kagoro.

On Monday morning, angry youths blockaded Marabam Kagoro in the area, attacking motorists, killing two persons in the process.
Internal and home affairs commissioner, Samuel Aruwan in a statement on Monday, said the 24 hour curfew was imposed to save lives and property.
Security operatives, according to him, have been deployed to stabilize the situation in the area.
