The camp of Governor Nyesom Wike has been demanding for Ayu’s removal as one of the pre-condition to support the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar during the 2023 polls.
The PDP national chairman said there is no basis for the call because he did not commit any offence, adding that he is just attempting to reposition the party ahead of the 2023 polls.
