Former governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has joined 2023 presidential race.

Senate president, Ahmad Lawan, read his letter of notification during the Wednesday plenary of the senate.

In the letter Ibikunle Amosun, now a senator, says the official declaration of his presidential bid will be made on Thursday, next week, in Abuja.

The senator, representing Ogun central senatorial district, says that god blessed him to serve as a senator between 2003 and 2007, two term governor between 2011 and 2019 and now an elected senator.
