A group of hunters kill marauding lion in Konduga local government area of Borno state as it injures two.
The lion was suspected to have migrated from the Waza games reserve in Cameroun.

Spokesman of the local government, Mallam Asheik Chabbol said the lion has chased some farmers in Malari village who then invited hunters. According to him, after confrontation, the hunters killed the marauding lion, who injured two of them before it was killed
Director of the forestry and wildlife in the state, Peter Ayuba, said similar incidents of elephants from the game reserve entering villages were recorded in Kala-Balge local government area.
