Hundreds Of Unemployed Youths Besiege NDE Offices In Ogun To Register For Jobs
Hundreds of jobless youths since last Thursday, had been besieging the state office of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) to register for jobs
Scores of unemployed youths had also been trooping into NDE offices across the state’s local government areas.
The registration is also taking place at the skill acquisition centres in Ijebu ode, Abeokuta and atan
The registration exercise which began last Thursday is scheduled to end on Friday, this week.
The state director of NDE, Alao Babatunde, told a RockCity FM correspondent, Yemi Eniola, in his office that hundreds of jobless youths had been registered so far in the exercise.

According to him, the numbers of people that have been registered so far, shows that there are lot of unemployed people in gun state.
This justifies the efforts by federal government to reduce the number of unemployed people in the country .
He encouraged other unemployed people in the state to register in the exercise, so that Federal Government could consider them during its planning process, and will be able to benefit from different programmes to tackle unemployment in the country.
The state NDE director also said the registration will assist federal government in providing monetary support for some entrepreneurs to invest in their vocational skills, after possible training and retraining programmes.
