Houses Habouring Cultists to be Demolished Across Ogun

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state has assented to a bill empowering the state government to demolish houses habouring cultists across the state.

Abiodun says he is worried that artisans, including mechanics and vulcanizers are now swelling the ranks of cultist groups in the state.

The governor, speaking at the 90th birthday anniversary of Alhaji Teslim Dawodu in Sagamu asked property owners in the state to collate data of their prospective tenants to prevent habouring cultists.

According to the governor, property owners in the state must strive to know their tenants to avoid their houses being demolished.

He identified Sagamu as the major hotspot of cultist groups in the state, adding that government is deploying appropriate resources to deal with the challenges pose by the cultists.
