Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state, has faulted the establishment of an Interim National Government (ING) advocated by an elder statesman, Chief Afe Babalola.
The governor warns that the proposed interim national government is a recipe for anarchy.
Uzodinma, reacted to the proposal while speaking to the state house correspondents at the presidential villa, Abuja on Tuesday.
Chief Babalola, on Monday had advocated the creation of the interim government to take over from president Buhari when his tenure ends in May 29, 2023.

According to Babalola, the 2023 polls should be suspended for the proposed interim government which will be in office for six months and produce an acceptable constitution.
Governor Hope Uzodinma said the proposal is unconstitutional since the Nigerian constitution did not make provision for an interregnum.
The governor asked Babalola to send his proposal to the national assembly as part of the ongoing constitution amendment.
He contends that the nation may be plunged into anarchy if there is no government in place after May 29, 2023.
