Hilton Hotel Owner And Two Staff To Die By Hanging For Murder Of OAU Student
Osun state high court has sentenced the owner of Hilton Hotel in Ile Ife, Dr Rahman Adedoyin, to death by hanging,
For murdering a post graduate student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Timothy Adegoke.
He was sentenced with two staff of the hotel.

The state chief judge, justice Alapele Ojo, in his judgement, said thus:
he was guilty of murdering the student in the hotel, where he lodged in 2021.
The chief judge ruled that circumstantial evidence established that the student was killed as guest in the hotel.
He adds that the refusal of the convict to enter into a witness box during the trial indicated that he agreed to the murdering of the student
Justice Ojo rejected the plea of his counsel that Dr Adedoyin was in Abuja days before the killing took place.
