Gunmen Attack Residence Of PDP Campaign Council Chairman In Rivers

Gunmen have attacked the residence of chairman of the PDP presidential campaign council in Rivers State, Senator Lee Maeba.

The gunmen shot their way into the house located at phase three of government reservation area in Port Harcourt, in the early hours of Thursday.

The senator and his relatives in the building managed to escape.

The gunmen destroyed vehicles, including a jeep and cars in the compound before leaving the house.

Earlier, Rivers State government had revoked the certificate of occupancy issued to him for a property at the golf course in the Port Harcourt GRA.
