Gunmen Abduct Travelers On Ekiti Highway

Gunmen have intercepted travelers along Irele Ekiti-Oke Akoko road in Ekiti state, abducting four of them.

They were abducted on Sunday morning at Irele Ekiti in the Ajoni local government area.

Those abducted were heading to Ibadan, after attending an event in Kogi state.

Commander of the state Amotekun Corps, retired major general Joe Komolafe confirmed the incident.

The commander said they are combing forests in the area to rescue those kidnapped.
