Five wedding guests have been abducted in Anambra state.

They were kidnapped at gunpoint at Akpo in Aguata local government area.

The state special duties commissioner, sly Ezeokenwa, in a statement says those abducted were his cousins.

Spokesman of the state police command, Tochukwu Ikenganya, confirms the abduction.

He says a police team are already tracking the suspected kidnappers to rescue their victims.
