Governor Seyi Makinde Says Time Is Ripe For PDP To Begin Reconciliation After 2023 Polls Defeat
Governor Seyi Makinde has said himself and other members of the PDP G5 governors are ready for reconciliation with top members of the party.
Makinde said the period for reconciliation after the crisis which rocked PDP during the 2023 polls, is now
Makinde made the call at a retreat organized by PDP for the party’s elected members of the national assembly in bauchi over the weekend.
The governor asked party leaders to put aside issues which are causing division among them, due to the in-fighting before and during the 2023 polls in the party.
According to makinde, the PDP must focus on what unites them and be forard looking.
Makinde last week visited president Tinubu along with former governor Nyesom Wike, another member of PDP G5 governors, who worked against the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar during the 2023 polls.
The oyo state governor however said, he has no plan of defecting to the APC.
