Gov Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has ordered all political office holders in his outgoing administration, to hand over ahead of the end of his tenure on may 29
More so, Office of the secretary to the state government which announced this in a statement said, the hand over must be completed latest by Friday
Those affected are commissioners, special advisers, senior special assistants, special assistants, and personal assistants
Others were the chief executive officers of government parastatals and boards who are political office holders.

Governor Seyi Makinde of oyo state has dissolved his cabinet, ahead of the end of his first term tenure ending may 29
The governor in a letter dated may 23, also sacked other political appointees
The only exception are political appointees holding tenure based appointments in statutory commissions
The governor’s chief of staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi said, the directive is with immediate effect
They were ordered to hand over along with most senior officials in their ministries and departments.
