Goodluck Jonathan Asks Nigerians Not to Succumb to Fear

Former president Goodluck Jonathan has asked Nigerians not to succumb to fear and pessimism in the face of rising attacks by terrorists in the country.

He urged Nigerians to be vigilant as they go about their daily activities.

Goodluck Jonathan made the call in a series of tweets, while reacting to attack by terrorists on the Abuja-Kaduna train last Monday.

The former president asks the military and other security agencies to scale up their efforts to return normalcy to the country.

He prayed that those abducted during attack on the train would be rescued safely.
