Global Outrage Over Russia’s Massacre of People Near Kyiv in Ukraine

Shocking images of civilian bodies in the streets of Bucha, near Kyiv, the Ukraine capital, have led to an outpouring of international condemnation of Russia.

France’s president Macron says there are clear indications Russian forces have committed war crimes.

France would co-ordinate such steps with its EU partners, “especially Germany”, in the coming days, macron says.

He also suggests the EU could impose further sanctions against Russian individuals.

It’s notable that macron didn’t mention targeting Russian gas, which accounts for about 40% of the EU’s natural gas imports.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson accused Russia of “despicable attacks” while the white house called it a “punch to the gut”.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s prosecutor-general says that 400 bodies have been recovered from towns around the capital retaken by Ukrainian forces.

Also, the Georgian foreign ministry has strongly condemned the killings of civilians in Bucha, near Kyiv.
