Gani Adams Seeks Permission To Flush Out Bandits From Lagos-Ibadan Road

The Aare Ona Kakanfo, Ibaa Gani Adams, has again asked Ogun, Oyo and Lagos state governments to allow the security outfits put up by the Odu’a Peoples Congress (OPC) and the south west security stakeholders group, to flush out terrorists and kidnappers from the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The governors, according to him, should allow Amotekun to join the security outfits, to engage the terrorists and kidnappers in their hideouts in the forests in the axis.

Adams in a statement by his media aide, Kehinde Aderemi, on Thursday said intelligence at their disposal, indicates an upsurge in the number of terrorists and kidnappers hiding at Sapade axis of the expressway, 62 kilometres to Ibadan.

According to him, the security situation in the axis is getting out of hand.

He vows that with the permission of Ogun, Oyo and Lagos states governors, the OPC dependable and south west security stakeholders group, would flush the terrorists and kidnappers within three weeks, from their hideouts in the axis.
