Ganduje Asks People Of Kano To Forgive Him, Bids Them Farewell, Ahead Of May 29

The outgoing Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has asked people of the state to forgive him, as his tenure ends on May 29.

Ganduje who stated this at a Ramadam Tasfir held at the Al Fruqan Jumat Mosque in Kano, bid people of the state farewell.

He said there was the need for him to seek forgiveness, as his tenure is coming to an end, and he is bidding them farewell.

The governor said he had forgiven all those who offended him, and expected those he offended to do the same.

Also, All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris, has been declared the winner of Kebbi State governorship poll.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer for the poll, Professor Yusuf Saidu, declared the APC candidate the winner while announcing the results of the poll in Kebbi on Sunday.

According the Returning Officer, the APC candidate scored 409,225 votes to emerge as the winner.

His closest opponent, Aminu Bande of the PDP obtained 36 thousand and 944 votes.
