Fresh Relief For Adebutu As Ogun PDP Faction Withdraws Suit Against Him
The Samson Bamgbose faction of the Ogun State PDP says it has opted to end its litigation against the party’s governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu, and the state executive committee of the party.
The faction in a statement said the time was ripe for the state PDP to reunite ahead of the 2023 polls.
It explained that the decision to discontinue the litigation was arrived at a meeting of the Bamgbose led state PDP exco last Monday.
According to the faction, it resolved to recognize Adebutu as the party’s governorship candidate, and other candidates approved by the PDP National Working Committee.
The faction said there were multiple infractions in the state PDP and disagreement leading to filing of suits in several courts.
