Four Killed, Five Injured on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

four persons have died on Monday in a fatal auto crash along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway in Ogun state.

five others were injured in the crash which occurred at Ogere axis of the expressway.

the accident involved a truck marked KMC 548 YD and a sienna SUV marked KJA 738 ET.

the spokesperson of the Ogun state command of federal road safety corps, Florence Okpeh, blames the accident on excessive speed by the driver of the sienna SUV.

according to her, the driver lost control of the sienna and crashed into the truck which was reversing.  

the state sector commander of the corps, Ahmed Umar, urges them to minimize speed, especially during the rainy season when visibility is poor.
