FMC, Abeokuta Searches for Relatives of Hit-and-Run Victim

Federal Medical Centre, Idi Aba, Abeokuta, is looking for the relatives of a hit-and-run victim it admitted.

The hit-and-run victim, who is in his early fifties, was rushed by a good samaritan to the hospital on Monday, last week, after he had been hit along Iyana mortuary-OGTV road in Abeokuta.

Eight days after, the medical centre is still trying to locate any of his relatives to identify him.

The man was found by the good Samaritan, Oluseyi Ajayi, unconscious on the median of the road, but still breathing, thereby rushing him to the hospital for urgent medical attention.

Spokesman of the medical centre, Segun Orisajo, told a Rockcity FM correspondent, Busola Adegbite, that the victim, since then, has been receiving treatment at the emergency centre.

Orisajo says the victim has not been able to talk to enable the centre to track his relatives.

He asked members of the public to show up at the medical centre to help in identifying him.
