Fire Guts Ogun Commissioner’s Home In Abeokuta

Fire has gutted the residence of Ogun State Agriculture Commissioner, Dr. Samson Odedina in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The fire broke out in the house located at Kemta, Idi Aba on Wednesday.

Fire fighters were deployed to put out the fire which ravaged the building.

Despite the intervention of the fire fighters, fire destroyed the house.

The director of the state fire service, Fatai Adefala said the fire was traced to the kitchen of the house.

Confirming the incident, Odedina appreciated God that no life was lost in the incident, even as properties worth millions of naira were destroyed.
