FG Urges Motorists To Avoid Panic Buying Of Petrol

Nigerian Midstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority has asked motorists not to engage in panic buying of petrol.

The scarcity of the product which was first noticed about a week ago, has since spread to all parts of the country.

Chief Executive Officer of the Agency, Farouk Ahmed says there is adequate supply of petrol in stock.

He directs major marketers and NNPC to begin the immediate evacuation of petrol to filling stations.

According to him, the situation would normalize by Thursday.
